It's been a while and I've missed you all! I went through a period of massive personal change and also was trying to get my body back into stasis after a lot of stress and hella burnout.
While I’m definitely still recovering, I was able to take a break from both my biz and my work and now I feel ready to return to this newsletter, my research, and sharing my work. I do have some exciting things lined up that I think many of you will enjoy so keep an eye on the Substack app in the coming weeks :)
Now, on to business, Happy New Moon in Aquarius! This new moon puts a spotlight on the relationship between the signs of Aquarius, Gemini, and Aries. While the Aquarius new moon does kick off a separate six month cycle, you can expect for it to also touch on themes and lessons you might have already been exploring with Mars Retrograde, the Saturn through Aquarius transit, and the last time Jupiter was in Aries.
The New Moon in Aquarius
Aquarius is very much a sign familiar with being an unfamiliar space. Even when they do not necessarily desire it, this sign as an archetype can be accustomed to being thrown into a space where it is an outsider. This is associated with the energy of Saturn who is comfortable being on her own and is willing to envision a future far beyond the future others can envision. This is the final new moon we will have in Aquarius with its ruler copresent for a LONG time so it’s a great opportunity for you to lean into the lessons Saturn has been sharing with you.
Aside from having both the Sun, Moon, and Saturn in this sign on this new moon, we also have Venus cozied up only one degree away from Saturn. Venus plays an important role in this chart as a ruler of the decan in which the new moon is also taking place and with the sweetness she brings to this day.
A new moon with Saturn in Aquarius is often about evolving traditions and envisioning a new way to live, but knowing that while we work towards that future, we might not necessarily be the ones to live in it. It’s an energy that wants to create change because it knows that is what is best for all of humanity. When we consider Venus being so close to Saturn, this evolves from being an energy of change as a necessity and instead considers the process of change, or transformation, a gift to witness. What small changes are you seeing in society, in the world around you, that show progress is being made even while larger wounds continue to exist?
Trines and Sextiles
Aspects can play an important role in our delineation of lunar charts, and this time, I felt drawn to explore a few with you. The new moon is making a sextile to Jupiter in Aries as well as a trine to Mars in Gemini who is also making the same sextile to Jupiter. There is so much gentle air energy at play here even as we have a malefic planet involved. This stream between the air signs points to the ability to use the logical mind to process, to understand. As you move through these next six months, invite yourself to observe not only your actions but the thoughts that lead up to them as an outsider. What do you desire at the root of your choices? What longing have you felt and ignored for far too long out of necessity or fear?
This new moon offers a chance to reflect on your relationship to boundaries and limitations, and consider how they may help you give shape to the unshapeable.

POWERFUL TOOL TO TRACK TRANSITS
Y’all, Tay from Lunar Reception has created one of the most useful tools I have found to date to track important transits. Y’all know I love my astro journals, but this tool that Tay created integrates with my calendar on my phone and computer. Take a look!
I love that this easily integrates to my Apple Calendar so I can look at it on my phone and/or on my computer. It also works for other systems/calendars too. The emojis and symbols let me understand exactly what is happening on a given day without having to open up and read a detailed description.
This is a great tool for anyone who wants to see important transits at a glance.
You can choose to download all of the transits (lunar and planets) or just one or the other. The instructions are easy to follow and it’s hella affordable given it covers everything for the year.
